RE: Seeking: RV BBQ Recommendations

Another vote for the Baby Q...we love ours. We use the little bottles and a 20# tank. Have never had any problems lighting it. Have considered hooking it up to the quick disconnect line on the TT but I am uneasy about having the grill that close to the TT.

I only wish we could have camped more when our kids were younger...but we did take them to the beach and stayed at DW's exM-I-L's beach house every year !!

RE: What is the most spectacular view you've ever seen?

First would be my daughter being born, Second- My Second wife walking down the aisle, Third would be seeing Niagra Falls from overhead, Fourth -would be seeing the Grand Canyon several years ago.
I have seen this same question asked in different forms before, and I have read many that say seeing the first wife walking out the door placed second...:B
I helped pack the 1st wifes stuff up and move her out of the house so the satisfaction was not as sweet..:W:W

RE: Your Fuel/Oil comments - please post here

Today gas is down to $2.91 and diesel $3.61 here in NJ.
So the prices have beat your best estimate of November 1 by almost a month !!...any idea as to when diesel will drop to $3 !! :B:B:W:W

RE: teflon tape on anode rod

There have been posts in the past where the threads were wrapped with a single wrap of PTFE (Teflon) tape without a problem.

RE: Bug Bombs

We "bombed" our last TT several years ago when we had ants take over. It was a last resort because we were heading out at the end of that week and it was a Tuesday !! Black Flag bombs placed at the front and rear of the TT. All cupboards emptied and doors left open, mattresses lifted and under mattress storage area open. No more ants after that.

RE: Weight Distribution Hitches

.... Are these non problems with other brands of WDH's?
I do not have this problem with my Reese Dual Cam HP. I store mine in the TT storage compartment when not being used. The hitch head weighs not more than 5o lbs (estimate)and the bars together are probably 20#'s. I have no rust issues but I do repaint everything each Spring just for appearance sake.

RE: Electric jack noise

Our Atwood does indeed make a lot of noise. I also would recommend the same regimen as geromio....lube that post !!! I had to take our jack out, strip it down and lube it up as it was getting tight due to some rust and corrosion (who knew washing your TT regularly would cause problems !!:W:W). Runs great now !
